God does love you.  That is the most important fact that there is in the whole world.  But there is another question in the matter, which is "Do we love Him back?"  Jesus said, "If you love Me, you will obey my commands (John 14:15)."  In addition, the first commandment still stands, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30)."  God's love for us opens the door.  Our love for Him lets us in.  Love God Back.
